Aldam Estate, the jewel of the Free State

Water sport activities & fishing:
For the water activity enthusiasts we cater for various water sports such as canoeing, sailing, jet skiing and much more. Kayaks are available for rent from reception. The abundance of carp, barbel, mudfish and yellow fish attracts anglers from across the Free State and other regions. Numerous club competitions are held at the resort.

Pleasure Boat:
Join us for a cruise on our pleasure boat that can accommodate up to 20 people. There are 2 trips daily, 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. Kindly note that no private cooler boxes are allowed on the boat and that the boat must have a minimum of 10 people booked before it can depart.

Recreational facilities:
Aldam Estate also has other outdoor facilities to keep the rest of the family busy while dad tests out his fishing skills. These include various sport facilities such as netball courts, tennis courts etc.

Trampolines, jukskei, swimming pools, putt-putt and a super tube are also part of the experience!

Game Drives:
The Estate is home to many of the indigenous species of wildlife as well as giraffe, black wilde beest and many more. Game drive opportunities at Aldam Estate is an experience not to be missed, with water on the one side and the spance of natural Free State landscape and game scattered all around. The resort also neighbours the well known Willem Pretorius Game Reserve, home to white rhino, buffalo and other game.
